The Goal

For decades emergecy services have relied on outdated technology for tracking and communication. The idea with 1 Mil was to create a real-time aeriel view of the facility with tracking ability based on the use of active key cards, monitoring and notification systems as well as manage all environmental elements related to air temperature and quality, automated access control, security and power.

The facility now features advanced notification and tracking capability as well as central monitoring for all environments enabling instant responses to life critical requirements.

Building the solution

When the engineers first met with 1 Military, the requirement was clear. There was a dire need to replace aging systems with a scalable solution that met all department needs.

During the design phase, senior project managers gathered requirements from each of the facility departments while addressing existing problems.

Once the overall project framework was agreed on, the design engineers developed the base platform with a future proof mindset.

Over the next 12 months, the Intrinsix team of hardware and software developers completed and deployed the solution to 1 Military.

The Result

Now three years later, the team are providing regular upgrades to the system as well as expanding the functionality to sustain human life. The IoT system deployed has become an integral part of the hospitals operations which will now be expanded to a national level.
